Fred Smith is a lifelong skateboarder, punk rocker, tattoo artist, motorcyclist, surfer, and road dog. He was a skater on the infamous Alva team in the 80’s/90’s, and had one of the most iconic and top selling skate decks back in the day. He did his tattoo apprenticeship under Mark Mahoney (of Shamrock Social Club fame), and has played in punk bands such as the Loud Ones. The two discuss his background and career in skating, tattooing, motorcycles, punk rock – and the subcultures around all these scenes… as well as just living life, paying dues, sobriety, hooliganism, old trucks, and more!
